Porto to extend unbeaten streak in Greece
Porto head into this final Champions League group game with the runners up spot already secured, and with no way of leapfrogging confirmed winners Manchester City they could make some changes without fear on Wednesday.
Despite that, we’re still expecting the Portuguese giants to get something from this game. They haven’t lost since an opening round defeat away to Manchester City, picking up a draw at home to Pep Guardiola’s side last week after three consecutive wins.
That 3-1 loss at the Etihad is the last time they conceded a Champions League goal, and on Wednesday they face an Olympiakos side that have scored just twice in their five group games.
The Greek side got off to a flyer as they beat Marseille on matchday one, but they have since lost all four games. They do lead Marseille on head-to-head record though, so they just need to match their result to secure passage through to the Europa League knockout round.
Even with Porto expected to rotate, Olympiakos have been so poor recently that backing the visitors to get something here looks excellent value. With them winning three of their last four games to nil and Olympiakos losing three of their last four without scoring, a 1-0 correct score prediction also appeals.
