The event for 3-year-olds and up will cover 1 1/16 miles on turf and include names like Ninety One Assault, Budro Talking, and Sydster among the field of 12.

Ninety One Assault will break from Post 9 under jockey Shaun Bridgmohan.
He will be up against the 4/1 Budro Talking, owned by Jack Randall. The 5-year-old Tale of Ekati gelding is trained by Keith A. Austin.
He is 8-3-1 from 24 career starts and has earnings of $221,184. In 2020, he has two wins and one second from six outings.
His most recent performance was a victory in the Sept. 19 Louisiana Cup Turf Classic Stakes (Black Type), which followed an Aug. 4 allowance optional claiming win also at the track. He finished fourth in the Jul. 4 Louisiana Legends Turf Stakes (Black Type) at Evangeline.
Budro Talking will break from Post 2 under rider Florent Geroux.

Another name to look out for is Baronne Farms’ Sydster, coming in at 5/1. The 3-year-old gelding from Power Broker is trained by Edward Johnston.
He has a career record of 3-2-0 from seven starts and earnings of $119,800. His 2020 performances include two wins and two seconds from five outings.
He is coming off a fourth-place effort in the Louisiana Cup Turf Classic Stakes, which followed a runner-up finish in the Jul. 4 Louisiana Legends Cheval Stakes (Black Type) at Evangeline. His victories came in the Mar. 21 Crescent City Derby (Black Type) and a Jan. 31 allowance race at Fair Grounds.
